Can you sell something on ebay that you bought on ebay?
cross-countrysuperstar asked:
I have purchased a few things on ebay that I don’t want anymore. Is it within ebay rules to sell it myself?

Anything can be resold on eBay as long as you fall into their sales parameters and tell the buyer where you bought it previously.
If it’s a certain type of collectible or autographed or limited edition then be sure that you’re able to tell the buyer how many people it’s gone through before coming to them. Some buyer are wary if they think it could be fake by going from person to person to person and so forth.

Go right ahead.
Once you’ve purchased the item, it is rightfully yours. If you choose to re-sell it on ebay, no one can stop you

Yes, a lot of people buy on ebay just to turn around and sell it again (hoping to make a bigger profit).
best of luck

Yes you can. If it were me though I’d make sure I said so on the description. Also, if the buyer was that interested, they can always see what items you buy in your feedback for the past 90 days. So be careful, as you don’t want to sell something for $10 that a buyer could see you paid $5 for in your feedback. Good luck!
