On EBay, what is the best way to sell an item that you have multiple sizes of but its the same item?

lil_ny_sweetie asked:

I have a dress that is in 5 different sizes that I want to sell on ebay. It is the same exact dress except for the different sizes. Is it better to make 5 different auctions for all 5 sizes? Or is it better to just do one auction and say I have differnt sizes? How would that even work?? Has any one done this successfully. Can you tell me the most effective way to sell something like this?

Make them all the same size

It’s better to do 5 separate auctions. It will be a little more work, but people who want just one dress don’t want to pay for all 5 and most people will just want one.

    ask the ebay people

I would do 5 different auctions and specify what size each is in your titles, because it sounds like you want to sell them individually other than sell them as a package to 1 person. good luck!

it’s better to have 5 different auctions than to have one single one especially for the buyers who just look at the pic and bid on it without even noticing the info listed,

but if you want to list it all in one, point out that they’re all different sizes and have them tell you which sizes they want

Do one auction for all five. It’s more customary, and it will make your eBay slate look cleaner, if you know what I mean.

make just one.. then indicate that you have different sizes available.

most likely, a person would see your post then ask for their size. if you have it there, they need not ask and immediately bid/purchase the item.
